CHARLESTON — The last time a Bradley men’s basketball team visited Eastern Illinois, Calvin Coolidge was president, Prohibition was the law of the land and the Braves were headed by a young coach named A.J. Robertson.
The date was Feb. 24, 1926 and the Braves were putting the finishing touches on a 15-4 season, their best since the program began 23 years earlier.
Ninety years later, the Braves and the Panthers meet on the EIU campus once again when they tip off at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
It’s the first true road trip this season for Bradley (3-3).
