Aside from last week’s exhibition contest against Division III Millikin, it’s been 19 months since Bradley transfer guard Danya Kingsby has played in a game. And he’s rarin’ to go for Tuesday’s season opener at Saint Joseph’s.
“It felt great to be out there (against Millikin),” he said. “I’m excited for Tuesday’s game. They play fast like we do. Playing fast has been part of my game since I was little. I know we’ll be ready.”
The 6-foot-1 Kingsby, who sat out last season at LSU because of a medical condition before transferring to Bradley in the spring, was a starter in the Braves’ 91-52 romp, scoring seven points and showing solid defense.
