PEORIA, IL – Freshman guard Caroline Waite (Ames, IA/Ames HS) led four Braves, all newcomers, in double-figures with a game-high 24 points, but it was the Bradley bench that sparked the home team to an 83-53 win against NCAA Division II Upper Iowa Monday night at Renaissance Coliseum.
Junior forward Sierra Morrow scored 12 points, while freshman guard Nika Dorsey contributed 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal in her 20 minutes off the bench. Freshman forward Abbie Draper added 10 points in reserve action to complete the double-digit scoring for Bradley (2-0), which has won its first two games of the season by an average of 29.
