LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Senior Emma Jackson allowed just two hits through the first four innings and Bradley Softball led Nebraska 1-0 heading to the fourth before the Huskers scored eight unanswered runs to top the Braves 8-1 Saturday morning to start the second day of the Troy Cox Classic.
Fellow senior Sydney Young gave Bradley (1-2 overall) the early lead with a RBI single in the top of the third. Sophomore Keeler van Breusegen led off the frame with a single to left and fellow sophomore Camryn Monteer followed with a single of her own to put a pair of runners on.
