NORMAL — Illinois State's basketball team will be playing at noon Friday at Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The opponent won't be finalized until 16 hours beforehand.
Coach Dan Muller isn't too worried about the unknown factor heading into the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament quarterfinal game for his No. 1-seeded Redbirds (25-5).
ISU gets the winner of Thursday's 6 p.m. play-in game between No. 8 Evansville (15-16) and No. 9 Indiana State (11-19).
"We'll prepare for both," said Muller during Monday's MVC coaches teleconference. "We'll take the main actions (of both teams). Obviously, there's a lot of familiarity.
