SEDONA, Ariz. – The Illinois State women's golf team recorded their second-best three-round tournament score of the season with 912 (305-300-307) at the par-71 Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Arizona. The team placed 16th in the 18-team field.
Morgan Savage carded a career-best three-round score of 226 (71-79-76). The junior landed in a 55th place tie alongside teammate Becca Black. In round three, Black played 2-over-par to end with 226 (76-77-73).
Senior Caitlin Sims played 15-over-par over three rounds to end with 228 (76-72-78) and a 62nd place tie.
