Springfield, Mo. – A 17-0 first-half run proved decisive on Saturday afternoon as Missouri State defeated the Bradley men's basketball team, 55-37, at JQH Arena. The Braves are now 10-11 and 2-6 in conference play, while the Bears improve to 10-11 overall and 4-4 versus Missouri Valley Conference foes.
Junior Nate Kennell led the Braves with 11 points, while junior Elijah Childs also chipped in 10 to go with a team-leading seven rebounds.
The Braves opened an 8-4 lead in the early minutes of the game but the Bears responded with the key run.
