PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Former Illinois State basketball standout Milik Yarbrough has been selected to compete in the 2019 Portsmouth Invitational.
This past season Yarbrough was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team, after averaging 16.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game – all of which led the Redbirds.
Yarbrough will join Osiris Eldridge (2010), Tyler Brown (2013), and Paris Lee (2017) as recent former Redbirds who have been invited to the event.
Each year for 67 years the P.I.T has invited 64 of the best college basketball players (seniors) from across the nation to participate in a four-day, twelve-game tournament in front of representatives from every NBA team.
