CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Ariel Michalek ran a strong race at the Illini Open, as she won the women's 5K with a time at 18:01. The men's cross country team also had a strong effort, as they won the men's 8K team title.
On the women's side, Grace Beattie ran a stellar performance, as she placed third overall with a time of 18:19. Ashley England finished in seventh place at a time of 18:42, followed by Phoebe Clowser in ninth with a time of 18:47.
