CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Bradley guard Nate Kennell’s stated preseason goals for his senior year were unselfish ones, focused on the team's success and the increased leadership role he could play.
While the Braves are 10-4 heading into Saturday’s 7 p.m. Missouri Valley Conference game at Northern Iowa, Kennell has not only led by example, but is headed toward his best season individually.
Kennell’s 12.2 scoring average is three points higher than last year, his previous best. He’s just 19 points shy of becoming the 49th Brave to score 1,000 career points.
