CHICAGO, Ill. – It was a snowy night in Chicago, but action was hot inside the Hinsdale Racquet Club Saturday night as the Redbirds took on the UIC Flames and came away with their first win of the season via a 6-1 win.
"Tonight was another typical battle between our teams," ISU head coach Mark Klysner said. "We didn't play our best tennis tonight, but we found a way to win on almost every court without playing our best and sometimes you have to win those kinds of matches. So, I'm happy for the win but we will need to step it up for next weekend.
