BLOOMINGTON, Ill.-- Illinois State men's tennis opened up the 2025 spring season against St Joseph's University (PA) of the Atlantic-10 Conference where the Redbirds fell 4-3. Illinois State claimed three singles victories and one doubles win.
In singles play, junior Tomas Valencia defeated SJU's Agbo in straight sets 6-3, 6-2. At No. 2, junior Adrian Dibildox played to a tiebreaker against Ruy winning by scores of 7-6 (6), 6-7 (3) and 6-3. The final individual victory came courtesy of freshman Finn Logue who won in three sets as Logue recorded scores of 6-3, 3-6 and 6-1.
