WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – In the strong field at the Purdue Fall Invitational, the Illinois State Redbirds finished in ninth place overall with a three-round 880.
Indiana University won the team title with a three-round score of 850, while Miami (Ohio) placed second with an 854. Iowa (870), Purdue (873), Toledo (875), Marquette (876), VCU (876), and Wisconsin (879) all finished ahead of the Redbirds' 880, with Ball State (882), Southern Illinois (882), Western Kentucky (891), Northern Illinois (894), Purdue Fort Wayne (901), and Butler (902) rounded out the 15 schools in the tournament.
Leading the way for the Redbirds in the final round was freshman Aiden Cudney, who shot a 71, while TJ Barger carded a 74, Alex McCulla a 75, Pietro Pontiggia a 78, and freshman Max Faucquez an 83.
