Columbia, Mo. – Redbirds finished day one in fourth after a strong 36-holes at the Tiger Invitational.
Illinois State came out swinging in the first day of the tournament, finishing the first 36-holes 16 strokes under par. The squad follows behind TCU, Missouri, and Kansas State, who are a part of the Big 12 Conference, and TCU holding a national ranking of 35
Leading the Redbirds today was junior Joel Durnford who finished seven under par in the first two rounds, four under in the first and three under in the second. In the two rounds, he sunk 11 birdies and is tied for sixth individually among 78 golfers.
