NORMAL, Ill. – Junior college transfer William Tinsley has committed to continue his basketball and academic career at Illinois State, beginning in 2017-18, by signing a National Letter of Intent (NLI), ISU head coach Dan Muller announced Wednesday. Tinsley is a 6-foot-6, 185-pound guard from Colfax, Illinois, who is a sophomore at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois.
"We are very excited to have another student-athlete from the state of Illinois entering our program," Muller said. "William is a local kid from Colfax who wanted to play for the Redbirds since he was a kid.
