ST. LOUIS – For the third time this season, Bradley sophomore Sandra Maletin (Belgrade, Serbia) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Singles Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Maletin previously captured the award Feb. 12 and Feb. 26 and the Braves now boast one of The Valley's two weekly honors in 10 of the season's 13 weeks to date.
Maletin improved to 21-7 overall in singles competition this year, including 13-5 in the No. 1 position during the spring dual match season, by rolling to a 6-3, 6-2 win in Sunday's 5-2 victory at Missouri State.
