KIRKWOOD, Mo. -- A day removed from firing the lowest round of her career, senior Taylor Ledwein picked up her second career medalist title; taking top honors at the Diane Daugherty Invitational by a stroke and helping Bradley Women's Golf to a fourth-place team finish Tuesday.
While Ledwein was the top individual in the field, Megan Welch had the low round of the day for the Braves on another windy afternoon at the par-71 Greenbriar Hills Country Club with a four-over 75 in the final round.
Ledwein finished at eight-over 221 for the tournament that included eight of the other nine MVC schools, to take top individual honors by one stroke over the South Dakota duo of Danica Badura and Akari Hayashi who tied for second at nine-over 222.
