PEORIA, Ill. -- Former Bradley cross country/track & field runner Lauren Fog (Harvard, Ill./Harvard) will be one of approximately 200 individuals competing for a spot on the United States Olympic team when she runs in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials Saturday in Los Angeles.
A 2011 Bradley graduate, Fog received a spot in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials after posting a time of 2:45:02 at the Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minn., last June. The top three finishers who meet Olympic time standards will be nominated to represent the U.S. in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
