PEORIA — The Bradley offense was lethargic much of the game Tuesday night, and the Braves held just a two-point lead on Norfolk State at Carver Arena with 5:25 left.
Nate Kennell was among the struggling Braves. But it was time for someone to step up.
Kennell did. His 3-pointer from the left corner pushed the lead to five. Two possessions later, the BU senior found Ja’Shon Henry for a dunk off a nifty alley-oop pass.
The next trip for BU, it was Kennell again, hitting a trey from the right wing for an eight-point lead at 3:40.
