IOWA CITY, Iowa – Two new program records were set to begin the 2024-25 season for Bradley Track & Field as the Braves competed in the Jimmy Grant Invitational in Iowa City on Saturday.
Kaden Kingsmith broke a 35-year-old program record in the men's 1000m, completing the race in 2:25.88. The new mark breaks John McConnell's previous record of 2:29.34, set in 1989. Kingsmith finished the race in second place, just five hundreths of a second off of first.
