Bradley guard Nate Kennell received another honor from the Missouri Valley Conference on Wednesday when he was selected as the co-captain of the all-Bench team voted on by the league’s 10 newspaper beat writers.
Kennell shared the co-captaincy with UNI guard Spencer Haldeman. The pair tied for the Sixth Man award announced Tuesday.
BU forward Elijah Childs also earned a second honor when he was named to the Most Improved team. Childs was selected third-team all-MVC on Tuesday.
Kennell was the Braves’ third-leading scorer at 9.4 points per game despite coming off the bench in 20 of the team’s 31 games.
