Illinois State soccer student-athlete Kate Del Fava was awarded the Robert G. Bone Scholarship for the upcoming 2019-20 academic year, as announced by the university in May. The Bone Scholarship, the highest university-wide honor given to undergraduate students, includes a monetary award from the Bone Scholarship endowment.
Del Fava holds a 4.0 grade-point average while double majoring in Pre-Veterinarian Medicine and Animal Science. The senior midfielder was named a CoSIDA Academic All-American and the recipient of the State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award during the 2018 season, while also recording a team-high five goals.
