ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Senior outside hitter Kat Poore (Council Bluffs, Iowa/Lewis Central) has been named one of 10 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Good Neighbor Award Fall recipients according to a recent announcement by the league office.
The Valley recognizes 10 student-athletes three times annually, honoring the achievements of exceptional student-athletes through the Good Neighbor Award. In order to be eligible, the student-athlete must be in good academic standing, must demonstrate good citizenship through good sportsmanship and significant community service, and must participate in a sport during the season of recognition.
A three-time letterwinner, Poore has missed the 2021 season with an injury that also cut short her junior season in 2020-21.
