The 2021 Kaboom! Awards, presented by RE/MAX Traders Unlimited and supported by PNC, continue by spotlighting the 2020-21 Bradley men's basketball season.
Rienk Mast was named the team's Most Improved Player. The rookie finished the season with 8.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, earning MVC All-Freshman Team honors (the first Brave to receive the award since 2018). He ranked second in the Valley among freshmen in scoring and first in rebounding, while his 8.6 points are the most by a Bradley freshman post since NBA Lottery selection Patrick O'Bryant in 2004-05. Mast was also key down the stretch as he averaged 13.
