BOULDER CITY, Nev. – One day after freshman Elise Fennell tied the school record for lowest round by a freshman, Redbird junior Morgan Jones tied the overall school record for the lowest single-round in program history – the second time she has reached a score of 67 this season – as the Redbirds climbed two places into 12th place with 18 holes remaining in the tournament tomorrow morning.
Jones' 67 is the second time this season she has carded the record-tying score, as she shares the record alongside current teammate Jinyoung Yun, who has carded 67 four times, and the pair are the only two in program history to shoot a score under a 68.
