NORMAL, Ill. – Fifth-year senior Colton Johnson posted a stellar outing, striking out a career-high 12 batters while conceding just three infield singles and one walk over eight scoreless innings. Missouri scored seven runs in the 9th inning to win, 7-0, on Friday at Duffy Bass Field.
The Redbirds struggled to generate any offense, posting just two hits and two walks.
Missouri (5-9 overall) got seven innings from Spencer Miles, who stuck out six.
