PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University women's golf athlete Jillian Cosler has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Cosler was honored after being crowned the Individual Champion at the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship on April 20-22.
The sophomore from Orland Park, Illinois, won the first conference championship by a Brave since Danielle Lemek won the MVC Championship in 2014. Cosler began the tournament with a one-under-par 71, then golfed two even-par rounds to secure the seventh conference title won by a Brave. Cosler's championship automatically qualifies her for the NCAA Regional - fans can watch the selection show live at 12:00 p.
