Illinois State women's basketball coach Kristen Gillespie did not want to leave Terre Haute, Ind., until her team was held accountable for its performance there.
So, an impromptu video session Saturday morning for Redbird players featured every single moment from Friday's unsightly 59-44 Missouri Valley Conference loss to Indiana State.
"If we would have played well and lost or won, we usually direct our (players') attention to the next opponent," Gillespie said. "But I was really disappointed in our effort and execution. It looked like we didn't even want to be there.
"I wanted them to see the body language, the bench, all the intangibles we can control and learn from it.
