NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State swimming team has announced it will host the Redbird Swim Camp in four sessions, taking place June 3, June 10, June 24 and July 1 at Horton Pool.
Each session will have a specific focus, covering all four strokes by the end of camp. June 3 will focus on three styles of freestyle, June 10 on the backstroke, June 24 on the breaststroke and July 1 covering the butterfly.
The camp will be open to all swimmers, male and female, between the ages of 10-18. The technique-driven camp is designed to help swimmers develop stroke mechanics, and each session of the camp will have a specific work focus and include all four strokes.
