ISU shooting for first road victory in Chicago

The Redbirds traveled to Nashville, Tenn., and were promptly flattened in the first half on Nov. 10. Belmont rolled up 62 points by halftime en route to a 100-89 victory.

ISU, which had four games at home and three in the Cayman Islands since then, tries to avoid an early knockout Wednesday. The Redbirds (6-3) take on Illinois-Chicago (3-5) at 6 p.m. at Credit Union 1 Arena.

ISU slipped past UIC, 71-70, last year at Redbird Arena. However, two of the Flames' top scorers, Tarkus Ferguson and Godwin Boahen, weren't involved in the outcome.
