Zach Copeland scored a season-high 15 points as the Redbirds cruised to a 79-62 victory over the Lions before a crowd of 3,737 that didn't have a whole lot to get excited about.
After finishing the Cayman Islands Classic with nine turnovers in each of the last two games, the Redbirds committed 15 against Lindenwood.
ISU's defense also allowed the Lions to shoot 46.4 percent from the field in the second half when Lindenwood was able to chop a 25-point deficit with 15:22 left to 14 on two occasions.
However, Muller pointed out in three games against non-Division I opponents (including exhibitions against Lewis and Augustana) the Redbirds have committed 15 or more turnovers in every game.
