NORMAL — Brock Spack is fully apprised of the situation his Illinois State football team faces Saturday at Hancock Stadium well before any numbers are tossed into the equation.
"It's a pretty big game," Spack said of the noon Missouri Valley Football Conference matchup with No. 1-ranked North Dakota State. "This team will get your attention. You can't make mistakes. They turn your mistakes into touchdowns."
Yet to more clearly grasp the gravity of ISU's challenge, one must consider that the two-time defending FCS national champion Bison are riding a 25-game winning streak and have won their last 30 contests coming off an open week.
