PLACIDA, Fla. - Using a one-under final round from Joe Hodgson, the Illinois State men's golf team closed play at the Coral Creek Club Invitational – an event with 12 top-100 programs in the 16-team field.
"We didn't take advantage of opportunities on the front end this week, but I am hopeful we learned some things," said Illinois State head men's golf coach Ray Kralis. "While this is who we are now, it is important to manage the expectations coming out of the winter. I am confident we will learn some hard lessons from this and be better because of it.
