ISU basketball star Milik Yarbrough suspended indefinitely

NORMAL — Illinois State men’s basketball star Milik Yarbrough has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities, the school announced Wednesday morning.

According to the Bloomington Pantagraph, the senior swingman was in custody Wednesday morning in connection with a traffic citation for failure to provide information and aid in an injury-related accident.

Yarbrough is expected to appear in court Wednesday afternoon on the charges, the paper said.

Yarbrough, a 6-foot-6 guard/forward, was a first-team all-Missouri Valley Conference selection last season when he averaged 16.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and a league-high 4.8 assists per game.
