HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — The one thing missing on the stat sheet basically told the story of Sunday's game at BB&T Arena.
When asked afterwards how many shutouts — or stopping Northern Kentucky on three straight possessions — Illinois State put together, Dan Muller knew the answer right away.
"We had zero," said the ISU head coach.
ISU could never stop Northern Kentucky, or specifically guard Tyler Sharpe and forward Dantez Walton. Sharpe poured in a career-high 30 points and Walton added 19 as the Norse cruised to a 79-64 victory over ISU before a BB&T Arena crowd of 2,820.
