CHICAGO — The Illinois State women's basketball team completed a 2-0 road swing Sunday with a 75-66 Missouri Valley Conference victory over Illinois-Chicago at Credit Union 1 Arena.
The Redbirds outscored the Flames 21-5 over the final 4:11 of the second quarter and carried a 43-28 advantage into halftime.
ISU, which never trailed in the second half, improved to 11-7 overall and 5-2 in the MVC.
Redbird guards Elyce Knudsen and Maya Wong both enjoyed season high scoring performances.
