NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State volleyball team (18-5, 10-1 MVC) finished its five-match home stand with a straight-set victory over Missouri State (11-12, 4-6 MVC) on Saturday night.

"I thought we played very tough tonight. We were able to make some adjustments, I thought we had a lot of fight. There were intense rallies. On both sides of the net, it was high-level volleyball, and this was a great indication of how excellent the Missouri Valley Conference is and why we believe we are a conference that should get multiple bids in the postseason.
