ST. LOUIS — Illinois State basketball coach Ryan Pedon is "fine" with his Redbirds being selected eighth in the Missouri Valley Conference preseason poll.
"We've got to prove we're going to be an established program in this league," Pedon said Tuesday during MVC Media Day at the Enterprise Center. "There are a lot of those walking in here already.
"We'll compartmentalize that within the walls of our locker room.
