Having not played since a regrettable performance in a Nov. 22 loss to Wright State, the Illinois State basketball team is still digesting the 74-49 defeat.
“Unfortunately that’s the taste we have in our mouths,” ISU coach Ryan Pedon said.
Thursday’s opening of the Missouri Valley Conference schedule gives the Redbirds something new and more substantial to chew on as ISU takes on Illinois-Chicago in a 7 p.m. game at Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago.
