CHESTERTON, IND. – The Illinois State Women's golf team carded a two-round score of 647 (325-322) at the par-72 MVC Preview in Chesterton, Indiana at the 6,072-yard Sand Creek Country Club.
The team is in a tie for third place with Southern Illinois (325-325), behind Missouri State by one stroke. Bradley is leading the nine-team field with a 640 (320-320).
"I'm happy with the effort the team displayed today," said Women's golf head coach Breanne Hall. "The conditions were very tough and all scores were higher than normal. We are sitting in a good position and will come out tomorrow looking to move up the leaderboard.
