TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Illinois State track & field hoisted the Coughlan-Malloy Cup for the fourth-straight year after defeating Indiana State in the annual dual, 153-147, on Saturday inside the Indiana State Indoor Track & Field Complex.
"Super proud coming away with a victory," Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Jeff Bovee said. "Indiana State is always one of the best programs in the conference year in and year out. It's never easy to come in here and come out with a win."
The Coughlan-Malloy Cup is unique in that the men's and women's team scores are combined into an overall score and the team with the highest combined total wins the traveling trophy.
