NORMAL — Brock Spack crossed almost every item off his shopping list during the December signing period. The Illinois State football coach completed his search Wednesday.
ISU signed offensive linemen Daniel Forystek of Green Bay, Wis., and Hunter Zambrano of Weston, Fla., and defensive back Robert Parker-Crawford of Tallahassee, Fla., as well as announcing five preferred walk-ons to add to 12 recruits who signed in December.
“We felt coming out of the first one we wanted two long, big guys to play tackle,” Spack said.
Forystek is a 6-foot-8, 275-pounder who Spack sees as coming from the same mold as current 6-10 ISU All-American tackle Drew Himmelman.
