Reggie Redbird took flight during a break of Illinois State's nonconference game against Northern Arizona on Sept. 21 at Hancock Stadium. The Redbirds are ranked seventh and eighth in the FCS national polls heading into Saturday's 2 p.m. homecoming game against Indiana State.

The 5-2 Redbirds jumped from 10th to seventh in the American Football Coaches Association rankings and from 11th to eighth on the STATS list.
