PEORIA -- Illinois State escaped a second-half Bradley comeback Wednesday night to edge BU 55-52 at Carver Arena before a paid crowd of 7300.
The attendance, 49 fans fewer than last year, was the lowest ever at Carver for a BU-ISU game.
Bradley (3-17, 1-6) trailed just 27-23 at halftime, but fell behind 41-27 midway through the second half. The Braves battled back to in the final 10 minutes but fell short.
ISU (10-10, 4-3) was led by Paris Lee's 16 points. Ronnie Suggs paced BU with 16.
