NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State baseball series against Eastern Illinois will feature significant changes as the Friday and Saturday games have been cancelled due to weather. The Sunday 1:00 p.m. CT game is still on as scheduled.
The Missouri Valley Conference cold weather policy requires a wind chill factor of at least 28 degrees.
Illinois State defeated Western Illinois, 6-1, on Wednesday in the Redbirds' home opener. The 'Birds are also scheduled to face Minnesota at home on March 21 and 22 before opening MVC play at Belmont.
