NORMAL — Bradley basketball coach Brian Wardle made his plea to the Missouri Valley Conference.
When Illinois State coach Ryan Pedon had his postgame turn before the assembled media, he did the same.
Both coaches expressed a strong preference to play the celebrated ISU-Bradley rivalry game on a Saturday instead of Wednesday's 82-71 Redbirds win.
"It would be a lot more fun if we could get our games on Saturday night for both teams," Wardle said.
