NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State baseball has announced the hiring of Tony Jandron as an Assistant Coach, revealed Friday.
Jandron, a former All-American at St. Norbert and native of Negaunee, Mich., spent the last five seasons as an assistant at Central Michigan and amassed a 177-80 (.689) record as a Chippewa.
Central Michigan was in the NCAA Tournament three times (2019, 2021, 2022) during Jandron's time in Mount Pleasant and set a program record with 133 stolen bases in 2023.
Prior to his time at CMU, Jandron was an assistant for three years at Northwood, holding a 109-53 (.
