NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State baseball has announced the hiring of Logan Moon as an Assistant Coach. Moon will primarily serve as the team's hitting coach.
Moon comes to Illinois State after spending the past four years on staff at Saint Louis University. The Billiken offense made massive strides under the direction of Moon, including breaking the school record for runs and RBIs in 2023.
SLU ranked top-50 in NCAA Division I baseball in 2023 in the following categories: runs, runs per game, on-base percentage, sacrifice flies, and stolen bases. SLU would also lead the A-10 in runs, hits, and RBIs during the 2023 campaign.
