NORMAL— The Illinois State football team lost a wealth of experience after the 2024 season with the graduation of three-year starting safeties Keondre Jackson and Dillon Gearhart.
Spring practice sessions have provided the Redbirds with a start to rebuilding that wealth.
"It's going OK. They're doing a pretty good job," ISU coach Brock Spack said. "We have good kids who are athletic. They've still got a lot to learn, but by the time we get to training camp (in August) they will be a lot better."
