WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Illinois State and Purdue baseball game scheduled for Saturday at 12:00 p.m. CT at Alexander Field has been canceled due to inclement weather. The teams are now scheduled to play a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 12:00 p.m. CT.
The Redbirds and Boilermakers opened ISU's home slate on Thursday with a thrilling 11-inning contest as the 'Birds won, 4-3, on a walk-off wild pitch before being rained out on Friday. Purdue was the country's last remaining unbeaten team.
The doubleheader at Purdue will be on B1G+.
